How to start an LLC in Colorado
There are six key steps involved in creating your Colorado LLC.
1. Select an appropriate business name
Your business name must be distinguishable from all other entities registered with the Colorado Secretary of State and must contain “Limited Liability Company,” “LLC,” or “L.L.C.” If the name you want is already taken, Colorado allows you to register a Trade Name (DBA).
